With the Deep Tech Award, we honour application-oriented and tried-and-tested software and hardware products from Berlin that are characterised by a high degree of innovation and great future potential and create added value for users. The categories of the Deep Tech Award are ‘Artificial Intelligence’, ‘Web3 - DLT, Blockchain, NFT & Metaverse’, ‘Robotics’, ‘Photonics & Quantum Technologies’ and ‘Sustainable & Social Impact’.

The presentation of the Deep Tech Award is the annual highlight of the campaign. The Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises has been honouring Berlin companies and start-ups with the award since 2015.
